The Sash Window Workshop specialise in traditional timber windows and external doors.
An award-winning company, with over 25 years’ experience, we understand the importance of sympathetically replacing and upgrading your windows and doors.
We have extensive experience working on a wide range of properties, including Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian homes and we can comply with Conservation Area and Listed Building regulations when required.
We offer a supply and installation service and a draught proofing service for homes in London and Southern England, with a supply only service for new joinery nationwide.
Crafted in the UK
Our new windows and doors are manufactured in our workshops in Berkshire by our expert craftsmen, with exceptional attention to detail and utilising the latest technology to ensure the windows and doors are of the highest quality.
Improving thermal efficiency
New windows and doors come double glazed as standard and, where we are installing the windows and doors, are draught proofed on installation.
If the window frames are in a good condition, we can often just replace the moving parts of the window (the sashes) to allow you to benefit from double glazing without requiring the whole window to be replaced.
We can also manufacture single glazed windows and doors and offer a secondary glazing service for listed buildings.
50 year anti-rot guarantee
We use Accoya wood as standard for our new windows and doors, which comes with a 50 year anti-rot guarantee. Accoya is a stable and very durable timber, meaning that it requires minimal maintenance and is designed to last.
Environmentally friendly
We believe that it is important to care for our environment and to be as sustainable as possible. We are therefore FSC certified, reflecting the fact that our timber is sustainably sourced.
We also carry out regular assessments of our carbon footprint and implement changes to reduce our carbon use.
